What's Cooking? A Great Start to the School Year for KSD Food Services!

Kearney School District's Southwest Foodservice Excellence (SFE) partners have been busy serving up nutritious meals, introducing new menu options and helping make the start of the school year special for our students and staff!

The team's August and September newsletter highlights some of the great things happening in our school cafeterias, including:

• New student favorites like Orange Chicken with Garlic Lo Mein, Cinnamon Apple Toast Crunch Parfaits, Pepperoni Pizza Power Packs and chicken drumsticks
• Special treats for students and families during orientation and open house events
• Breakfast and lunch service for thousands of students across the district
• Catering for staff Convocation, new teacher welcome activities, special education staff appreciation, the Recess Forever luncheon and a Board of Education dinner
