On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the Bulldogs took on the Suburban Conference (Blue Division) Tournament at Excelsior Springs Golf Course and delivered in every spot. Kearney posted a team score of 390 to claim first place and the 2025 conference title, led by Kindell Owen with a superb 77 to win individual gold. Jessi Kutch followed with 94 (third), Amina Jardak carded 109 (sixth), Brennan Judkins shot 110 (seventh), and Makenna Sallee finished at 111 (eighth). All five Bulldogs earned All-Conference honors, an across-the-board statement of depth and consistency.
Less than 24 hours later, the Bulldog girls stepped into the Class 3 District 4 spotlight at Hodge Park Golf Course and kept the momentum rolling. The Bulldogs posted a team 380 for a bronze medal against a loaded field. Kindell Owen led the way again with an 82 (second), Jessi Kutch delivered an 88 (sixth) and Amina Jardak added a 96 (12th).
With those performances, Kindell, Jessi and Amina earned All-District recognition and punched their tickets to state! They're heading to the MSHSAA Class 3 State Tournament, Oct. 20–21 at Twin Hills Golf Course in Joplin. Congratulations to Coach Troy Resler and the entire team on a championship week. Best of luck to our state-bound Bulldogs!
